Raid: Lower Blackrock Spire (LBRS)

No quests… we’re going to be 10-man raiding it and we’ll be going for the UBRS key and phat lewt. The plan is to hit LBRS hard and fast, taking advantage of many shortcuts to hit key areas and bosses to maximize drops. We’ll figure out which members are closest to getting the key, and prioritize gem drops for those people. And, if we sucessfully finish a key, maybe we’ll even use it!

In summary… the key was not acquired. Two pieces fell, getting us ever closer to our goal. However, in the phat-lewt category, the Boots of Elements dropped for Maanae, and the Beaststalker’s Mantle dropped for Jetsy. The prize of the night went to Necromage, as the Epic, oddly Bind-on-Pickup, Taylor/Mage-only Robes’ Pattern: Robes of the Archmage dropped just prior to hitting the spiders.
Over the course of the night, there were 9 in the raid, with early-leavers, and late-comers both, a rocky midpoint series of wipes, but all-in-all, a very sucessful run.
Expect another raid on LBRS in the near future.

After some initial teething pains, this turned out to be a fun run. I am very happy with my [Hands of Power].
I look forward to reaching a full group of 10 level 60 characters and see what happens in UBRS.
