New Characters with Expansion
I am undecided on what Blood Elf character I would like to create with the expansion. I am leaning towards warrior or paladin, but I would like to choose one that would lend to a balance in the guild ~ it would be great to coordinate this in an effort of having a variety of characters around the same level to be able to form groups.
I am wondering what (if any) new characters everyone else is planning on creating… Please post a comment below with what class of character you are planning on creating.

Sadly there will be no BE warriors.
I myself am making a BE warlock, a BE paladin and a BE priest. The warlock will be my primary Blood Elf though.
Vaharneim replied:
Blood Elf Shadowpriest. Me no heal. Me melt faces.

I am at a loss on what I would like to play as a new character to celebrate the release of “The Burning Crusadeâ€.
So, what would my new little Blood Elf be?
· I was really looking forward to playing a Warrior, I want to kill stuff. I want to look at something and not have seven different plans on how not to get hit. I want to be able to take a hit and not start looking for the exit. But nnnooooo, that is not an option.
· Ok, then a Shaman, I can deal damage, that is fun. I can heal, that is fun. I can self-rez, love that. I can rez others, very handy. I get to wear actual armor, hit me, I do not care, and I am still going to kill ya. I get to be a wolf and I have lots of totems that I can make into lasers on the Zeppelins. I love my little Shaman, and I do not have to much time invested. But nnnooooo, no Shamans either. Grrrr.
· So a Druid then, I like being able to heal myself, very handy. Plus, the bear looks fun, I like bears. I can be a cat, an invisible cat, an invisible cat that kills stuff. And eventually a flying form, at level 68, two levels before anyone else gets to fly, sweet. Hmmmm, not that either.
· I already have a Priest. My main. I am leaning towards going shadow for the expansion. I can heal, I can kill, I will have increased armor, I will have increased damage, I will have a party health regen, I will have a party mana regen, plus all the other goodies that every priest comes with. And silence. So, I do not need another Priest. So, no.
· I already have a Warlock. My first character, lots of fun until the summonable Demons became worthless, most of the time worse than worthless. They would kill me more often then they would kill anything else, talking about biting the hand that feeds ya. If they ever change that, the warlock is back, but until then, level 58 looks ok. So, no.
· I already have a Rogue. Fun to play, but, I do not know, never really took a hold of my interest. So, no.
· I could be a Hunter, I might be the only one, who knows. Hmmm, a Hunter? Not much of a draw for me at the moment, I do not know. I think about a Hunter, I yawn, then start to wonder what I will make for dinner. Ahhh, dinner, I am leaning towards a tossed green salad, stuffed pork chops with cornbread dressing, green beans with bacon and onions in a beef reduction, pistachio fruit salad, and drop biscuits. That sounds good, not to much time, easy, little prep, and fast clean up. Ok, so, dinner is settled, but what about a desert. We do not eat desert much, but, maybe a layered …… wait, what was I thinking about? O yea, Hunters, yawn. Ok, so, no Hunter yet.
· I could be a Paladin, but I HATE Paladins!! That would just feel wrong. I am sure I will warm up to them, but for now, mmmm, no. I might not even heal them, I hate Paladins. There was this one once, grrr, he would not stop… ok, sorry. So, no.
· So, that leaves a mage. They make there own food and water, that is nice. It is a caster, I like casters. I can stand back and pew pew all day long with my free mana. If you get to close, I will freeze ya and run, or blink, or turn invisible, you cannot kill what you cannot see, I like being invisible. But, that will not be a problem, because as we have all seen, mages are powerhouses and kill everything before they get to them, so, no problems there. They can make there own food and water. They have the ability to regen their mama during combat. And they can make their own food and water. I wonder if I could be invisible while I make my free food and water. Hmmm, maybe I will find out.

I’m leaning toward BE holy priest. “You know you love me.”
I may do a BE pally too, if we decide they would benefit us. Even though Shammy > Pally.
I may get over my hatred of rogues too, if we want more meelee dps. I decided against a mage, because I’m making bomo into a ranged damage dealer.
Tim replied:
I am making a arcane spec Mage. Most likely, the cutest thing on the graymane when i am done. After all, no self respecting male wears a dress..
Sharaya replied:
I plan to initially run a blood elf mage, and then later a blood elf paladin.
Zathra replied:
I was orignally going to go mage, but that’ll be covered by those i normally game with, so now im thinking of either a preist or rogue, But pally looks intriguing too… grr cannot make up mind. The idea of stealing the power of the light as a pally is drawing me. And then there is the hunter… Arghh too many choices!
