Welcome to Hellfire Club. Whether you’re a first-time visitor or long-time troll, there are several key points of interest in the website for your pleasure.

Hello, I’m Lieutenant General Vaharneim. Don’t let the title intimidate you, I’m really an okay person. (Really!) Since I’m a glutton for punishment, I tend to handle most of the PR — website, scheduling, etc. I’ve got a few alts, the most notable is Skykomish, whom many of you know as one of our tanks. Now that introductions are out of the way, on with the show!

First off, I’d like to draw your attention to the forums. Due to forum-spamming, our forums are restricted to login, so please create one if you haven’t already. Your login doesn’t have to be the name of your toon, but if it isn’t, I would highly suggest tweaking your forum profile or sig to indicate who you are.

Within the forums you’ll see a couple of polls for the Friday Night Fight and Mid-Night instances. These are weekly in-game events based on popular demand. Obviously, the more members participating in the polls, the better response and likelyhood that the instances that are chosen are those that people actually want/need to visit.

Next, the schedule… a place to schedule upcoming events and instance runs, and to sign up for those events. Currently, the logins are not shared between forums, schedule, and this main info-site, so you will need to create a profile for the schedule as well. This allows you to record your various characters, levels, and other details that help with assembling groups ahead of time. Usually, when an event is announced, there’s a post about it linking directly to the signups in the schedule. This eliminates the need to browse around and find the event you want — but you can do that too, if you like.

Along the left side of the page, you’ll see all sorts of navigational links. Some are well maintained, and others were nice ideas when we started the site, but have been neglected. Almost all of it, however, is merely additional information about the guild, what we do, what we’ve done, and some aspriations for the future — all the while staying as family-friendly as possible. Browse through them when you get a chance, and feel free to post any ideas or opinions in our forums.

Another close vote… and as a result of recent comments and polling (still underway), the schedule is starting earlier, eventually to be deciding the FNF on the Monday preceeding to give a couple more days’ chance to sign up. Additionally, there is no longer a limit to how many things you can vote for, so vote for everything you would like to do — rather than the top three like before.

Friday, April 6th, 2007… it is time once again to venture into Coilfang Reservior and conqueor The Steamvault. Warlord Kalithresh won’t know what hit him.

Although, this time, things might be slightly different. For those who are ready for it, we might actually be able to attempt the Heroic version as well. So, if you’re revered with Cenarion Expedition, be sure to grab the key and when you sign up, note that you’re ready and willing. If you dare!
