Little Guild in with the Big Boys

That’s right, Hellfire Club is now ranked #70 on WowJutsu. Of all the many many guilds on Greymane, our little casual & family friendly group has broken onto the list of big boys.

WowJutsu is a ranking site that uses the WoW Armory, looking at the loot that characters have. If someone is wearing an epic that dropped from Moroes, WowJutsu credits that guild with the kill, and adds up all these point values for multiple loot from the same boss and comes up with a ranking system. It may not be perfect, but it’s one of the best semi-automatic progression-tracking methods available so far.

So, if you look up Hellfire Club at WowJutsu, and see that it doesn’t list an item that you’ve recieved, be sure to equip it whenever you log out so that it shows up in your Armory profile and can be seen by WowJutsu. Otherwise, if you see that an item is showing up, you don’t need to wear it all the time, unless you want to (that would be mostly for off-spec loots).

Congratulations!

You are NOT a guest.

HFC has ventured into Karazhan 4 times, and has met their greatest challenge yet: The Curator.

However, like most of their opponents, while intimidating on paper, once faced, the facts get straightened out and a whoopin’ goes on record. After 4 attempts, we brought Curator to 38% (40% under control), and are already identifying potential areas of improvement for the next time we meet.

We also faced Oz which hardly feels worth mentioning considering it was such a quick and easy oneshot. I believe one person may have died, and that may have been a silly mistake. There’s no way to be certain, because nobody’s talking about it. =]

Attumen:
Gorysh – [Worgen Claw Necklace]
Travysh – [Whirlwind Bracers] (offspec)

Moroes:
Turason – [Boots of Valiance]
Timmie – [Edgewalker Longboots]

Trash Drop:
Sagaris – [Inferno Waist Cord]

Maiden:
Arnithall – d/e – [Totem of Healing Rains]
Gorysh – d/e – [Bands of Indwelling]

Opera – Oz:
Turason – [Ribbon of Sacrifice]
Bomosnipah – [Legacy]

KZ: R&J Die Together

And there was much rejoicing…

Congratulations to Bomosnipah on [Beastmaw Pauldrons] from Romulo, although it’s too bad they don’t especially look very different from your existing D3 shoulders.

Julianne dropped [Despair], and the stupid warrior should have taken it (for the upcoming Shade of Aran fight) but instead it was disenchanted into a [Void Crystal] for which Ungulataur won the roll (with a 100, mind you).

[Edit] The signup for the next Karazhan run has been posted.

[Edit] Incredibly sucessful run, one-shotting Attumen and Maiden, with only 3 tries to down Moroes. Unfortunately Blizzard decided we need to get over the R&J hurdle, or maybe it was Gorysh’s strong desire for poisons… who knows. We made a handful of attempts on the star-crossed lovers, nearly reaching the end of the last phase a couple of times. So close…

And now for the phat lewtz.

Attumen the Huntsman:
Travysh – [Spectral Band of Innervation]
Bomosnipah – [Stalker's War Bands]

Moroes:
Arnithall – [Nethershard Girdle]
Ungulataur – [Brooch of Unquenchable Fury]

Trash Drop:
Bomosnipah – [Belt of the Tracker]

Maiden of Virtue:
Turason – [Shard of the Virtuous]
Supots – [Bands of Indwelling] (offspec)
