Turns out the problems with the AGP bus simply could not be reduced to a simple motherboard BIOS reset. Until further notice, I’m now rendered unable to play WoW until I replace the motherboard and that won’t happen for a long time since I’m saving up to pay for my own wedding. Replacing the motherboard would be crazy talk to do by itself rather than a full system upgrade and I just can’t spare the dough to upgrade the full system. I’ll have to keep in touch online but I’m suspending my account tonight. Sorry guys. Good luck with KZ.

Reset the BIOS. Tonight is the all-night reinstall-fest for all my applications that I didn’t install on my other partition. This includes Office, WoW, Painter, and all my other crapola.

Okay, my mobo may have gotten fried. I’m typing this from SLAX live cd and will be trying to see if re-setting my BIOS allows me to reinstall windows with no IRQL issues. Otherwise, I’ll have to consult with the future-wife-unit (FWU) as to whether we want to drop $500 of our wedding funds on replacing the internals on the compy.

Sweet! I’m glad Redfre and Bularti are getting the gear to bring some heat. They’ll be closer on the DPSin’ heals of Bomo and Trav soon enough.

Sorry about missing it guys. My computer was killed by a house guest. He unplugged it when it didn’t shut down fast enough and now it doesn’t have a ntoskrnl.exe file in the System32 directory (hmm, no OS?). The files area all still there, I just need to get that freakin’ .exe back in place. I have a plan and it will be working by Friday. GG on the pre-clear.

I know that the pally limited method of pulling (like pulling with multi-shot, aka a bad idea) means for very slow going with just Jlittle… or waiting 2m between misdirect pulls.
