Our first night in a 25-man raid, one of Outland’s finest, Gruul’s Lair, was a chaotic success. After a mere 12 attempts (the majority of which were 22-23 people), High King Maulgar was downed.

Congratulations to Gaydavor, Gryphoneli, and Gannar (the 3-G Conspiracy) on the HFC-first Tier-4 Shoulders! Congratulations also goes to Wayangkulit on the [Brute Cloak of the Ogre-Magi]!

Then we faced off against Gruul for 2 attempts, bringing him down ultimately to 64%, both on awkward pulls.

It was a well fought night and everyone did spectacularly. Way to go Hellfire Club!

HFC has killed the first boss in Zul’Aman!

It was an exciting, epic boss fight.

The loot: Formula: Enchant Weapon – Executioner went to Necromage, and Pauldrons of Primal Fury went to Bomosnipah.

The first of many, different successful ZA crews: Skykomish, Timmie, Paed, Turason, Paineyota, Necromage, Bomosnipah, Sanice, Scour, and Arnithall. Zul’Aman looks to be a very fun and challenging raid instance for us as a guild, as we begin to move beyond Karazhan. We’re far from focusing on ZA, but we’ve got a taste and made a dent. I hope to see all of you in there soon.

While I really don’t mean to push the AQ/Race post below the fold… Prince Malchezaar is dead!

Congratulations Paed on the first HFC Tier 4 Helm, and to Arnithall and Skykomish for the other first drops from Prince. Great job everyone, especially the healers.
